Woodenbong Update
Preparations for Woodenbong are underway and the place is looking good. Majority of areas are dry and will make for some awesome trails. Campgrounds have just been slashed so we recommend you bring a rake for your campsite. Also remember to bring your cold weather gear - Tuesday morning saw a frost turn the showgrounds white! During the day the weather is beautiful and sunny.

UQ SurveyUQ is still keen to study the health benefits or otherwise of off road riding. Governments, councils and the motorcycle industry have been approached by UQ for funding to complete the research but there response so far has been disappointing especially from the motorcycle industry that probably would stand to benefit the most. Imagine the impact if the research found just one benefit like early exposure to motorcycle riding improved the driving skills and awareness of young people. It looks like riders themselves might have to seed fund the UQ research!, With Government research showing 330,000 riders in SE Queensland alone, a dollar from each rider in the State would go a long way to toward UQ funding requirements.
